01About These Terms
RWE Connect is a conference series conceived and organized by Convolign Business Consulting LLP, an Indian company registered under the Limited Liability Partnership Act, 2008, with its registered office at 278/5/A, Katjuridanga, Bankura 722101, West Bengal, India ("the Organizer", "we", "us").
These terms apply to every visitor to rweconnect.com and to every person or organization that registers for, speaks at, sponsors or exhibits at an RWE Connect edition ("the Event"). By using the website or submitting a registration, sponsorship or speaking form, you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy.
02Registration and Passes
A registration is confirmed when the Organizer issues written confirmation. Submitting a form is a request to attend, not a confirmed place.
Pass types are defined by the registrant's organization and role. The Organizer may reassign a registration to the correct pass type, and may decline a registration that does not meet the eligibility criteria for the pass requested.
Complimentary passes are limited, allocated at the Organizer's discretion to qualifying professionals from pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, and confirmed only in writing. A complimentary pass may be withdrawn if the registrant's details prove inaccurate.
A pass admits the named individual only. It may be transferred to a colleague under the substitution rule below but may not be resold or shared.
03Payment
Fees are stated on the registration page for each edition in the currency of that edition. An invoice is issued on confirmation and is payable within 14 days of the invoice date and in any case before the first day of the Event. Access to the Event may be refused where payment has not been received.
04Cancellations, Substitutions and Refunds
A registered delegate may be replaced by a colleague from the same organization at any time, at no charge, by writing to the Organizer.
Cancellations received in writing more than 30 days before the first day of the Event are refunded in full, less an administration charge of 10 per cent of the fee.
Cancellations received 30 days or fewer before the first day of the Event are not refundable, and the full fee remains payable. The place may still be transferred to a colleague.
Registrants who do not attend are not entitled to a refund or credit.
05Changes to the Event
The programme, speakers, timings and venue are published in good faith and may change. The Organizer will use reasonable efforts to notify registrants of material changes but is not liable for changes outside its control.
If an edition is postponed, confirmed registrations and sponsorships transfer automatically to the new date. If the new date is not suitable, you may transfer your place to a colleague or to the next edition.
If an edition is cancelled and not rescheduled, registration fees paid are refunded in full. The Organizer's liability is limited to the fees paid and does not extend to travel, accommodation or other costs.
The Organizer is not liable for failure to hold or complete an Event because of circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including natural disaster, epidemic, government restriction, industrial action, venue failure or transport disruption.
06Speakers
Speaking places are allocated by the Organizer on the basis of the edition theme and the value of the session to the audience. Speakers agree to deliver the session as agreed in writing, to provide materials by the dates requested, and to grant the Organizer a licence to reproduce their name, title, organization, likeness and session materials in connection with the Event and its promotion. Speakers are responsible for their own travel and accommodation unless agreed otherwise in writing.
07Sponsors and Exhibitors
Sponsorship and exhibition are governed by a separate written agreement that sets out the package, inclusions, fees and payment schedule. In the absence of a conflicting provision in that agreement, these terms apply. Sponsorship fees are payable in accordance with the agreed schedule and are non-refundable once the agreement is signed. Sponsor content on the programme remains subject to the Organizer's editorial standards, and the Organizer may decline material that is not suitable for the audience.
08Conduct at the Event
RWE Connect is a professional environment. Participants are expected to treat one another with respect. Harassment, discrimination, disruptive behaviour or unsolicited commercial approaches outside the formats provided for them are not permitted. The Organizer may refuse admission to, or remove from the Event, any participant who breaches this standard, without refund.
09Photography and Recording
Sessions, networking and exhibition areas may be photographed, filmed and recorded. By attending, you consent to the Organizer using images and recordings in which you appear for reporting on and promoting the Event and future editions. Tell the registration desk on arrival if you would prefer not to be photographed. Recording of sessions by participants is not permitted without the Organizer's written consent.
10Website Use and Intellectual Property
The content of rweconnect.com, including text, design, logos, the RWE Connect name and the agenda, is owned by or licensed to the Organizer and may not be reproduced without permission, other than for personal, non-commercial reference. Delegate lists and other materials provided to participants are supplied for use in connection with the Event only and may not be shared, sold or used for unsolicited marketing.
The Organizer does not guarantee that the website will be available without interruption or error, and may change or withdraw content at any time.
11Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Organizer is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of or damage to personal property at the venue. Participants are responsible for their own insurance, travel documents and visas; a visa invitation letter is issued on request to confirmed, paid delegates but does not guarantee entry. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute arising under them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India. The Organizer may update these terms from time to time; the version published on this page at the time of your registration applies to that registration.
